Description
A delicious and easy recipe for crispy air fryer salmon that is perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced (for serving)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a crispy texture.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Make sure they are not overcrowded.
- Cook the salmon for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve with lemon slices and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the olive oil mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Try adding a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the seasoning mix for a sweet glaze.
