Description

A delicious and easy recipe for making cinnamon sugar air fryer apples, perfect for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium apples (any variety, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core and slice the apples into thin wedges, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, melted butter or coconut oil, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add the apple wedges to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Place the apple wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Air fry the apples for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are tender and slightly caramelized.
  7. Remove the apples from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a nutty flavor, sprinkle some chopped walnuts or pecans over the apples before air frying.
  • Serve the warm apples with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for a delicious dessert.
