Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread is a delightful and easy-to-make bread that is perfect for sharing. It features a soft, fluffy texture infused with garlic and cheese, making it a crowd-pleaser at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  7. Brush the melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle the minced garlic, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley evenly over the surface.
  8. Cut the dough into strips, then stack the strips and cut them into squares.
  9. Place the squares into a greased bundt pan or a round baking dish, layering them as you go.
  10. Cover the pan with a towel and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic mixture.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for added flavor.
