- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 pieces naan bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce. Mix until the chicken is well coated.
- Place the naan bread on a baking sheet. Brush each piece lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Evenly distribute the BBQ chicken mixture over each naan, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Top each naan with shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of red onion.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños on top before baking.
- Substitute the chicken with pulled pork or grilled vegetables for a different flavor profile.
