Description
Bang Bang Salmon is a delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring salmon fillets coated in a creamy, spicy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound salmon fillets
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, lime juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Generously spread the sauce mixture over the top of each fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
- Serve immediately with rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Notes
- For a crispy topping, broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Try substituting the salmon with chicken breasts for a different protein option. Adjust cooking time as needed.
